LED sign system

Following a range of enquiries for a large-scale LED sign display system suitable for use on the sides of buildings, we have developed a modular system which can be used to construct a range of different signs.

These units require assembly into a suitable weatherproof housing for exterior use (we do not supply housings, but sign contractors are able to provide these). They are viewable over considerable distances even in direct sunlight and are ideal for roadside or town centre advertising.

The sign itself is constructed from vertical strips, each one "dot" wide. Strips are fixed side by side into a housing. Six strips form enough display for one letter. Several hundred strips may be linked to give wider displays. The strips are then controlled by one of our control/power units. The picture on the right shows a sign with 72 500mm red strips and 24 500mm Amber strips, giving a display 500mm high and 6 metres wide.

300mm character height strip
Available with Red, Amber, Green or White LEDs. Viewing angle 20 degrees or 40 degrees. Readable up to 50 metres. More details

Time/Temp control unit
Control unit and power supply to display time and temperature (single or double sided sign). External temperature sensor included. More details

Programmable message control unit (with time/temp)
Control unit and power supply to display programmable messages. Time and temperature may also be displayed as part of the main display or as a separate section. Message programming is performed using a web browser interface on a networked remote PC. More details
