GPIO1 – 10way header and pluggable screw terminals - 8 logic inputs/outputs (6 with A to D) allow connection of switches, buttons, etc;
GPIO2 – 10way header – 8 general purpose inputs/outputs arranged as an 8-way buss
GPIO2-Buffered – 10way header and pluggable screw terminals - 8 driven outputs allow direct powering of LEDs, relays etc up to 0.5A per channel (2A total for all channels) and selectable as 5V or Board Supply Voltage (DC in) in groups of 4.
GPIO3 – 10way header - 8 additional general purpose input/outputs, also connects to Baby Pigeon modules
GPIO4 – 10way header – 8 additional general purpose input/outputs, also connects to Baby Pigeon modules for Network provision.
Serial – 10way header – contains SPI, I2C and RS232 connections, also connects to Baby Pigeon modules. (note RS232 is jumper selectable between two pins on GPIO1(losing 2x A to D), two pins on GPIO3 or not connected)
Power – 10way header – contains Vin, 5V, GND, Reset, and RS485
RS485 serial data link for linking 16+ boards off a 4-core cable up to 200m (link also provides power) or DMX512
microAB USB connector for USB Host or USB Device connection, eg connection to PC or Android device
On board FAT file storage using microSD.
On board real time clock with supercap backup.
On board security/serial number IC, allowing secured communications to protect IP.
One module space for Baby Pigeon module.

Audio playback module
Plugs into the Baby Pigeon position on the Pigeon One board to provide recording and playback of audio files.
Wolfson codec provides stereo output to headphones, 1W speaker drive, or line output.
Input from line or mono/stereo microphones.
Playback of uncompressed WAV or MP3 files from SD card on Pigeon One board.
Recording of uncompressed WAV files.
|Control:||Standard software provides triggering of 8 audio files from switch inputs on Pigeon One board, or serial control. Custom software can be provided for any functionality.|

Ethernet Baby Pigeon module
Plugs into the Baby Pigeon position on the Pigeon One board to provide 10/100 wired ethernet capability.
